This superfood powder mixes also great with a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea. Stir well and let it dissolve for 5 min. Enjoy your healty drink and reap the benefits of traditional Chaga mushroom.
Can I add this Chaga Extract to smoothies?
Yes. Our Chaga Extract is water-soluble and can also be used in smoothies. Because of its strong specific taste it is mostly used in tea, coffee or in hot chocolate.
What is the main difference between Chaga powder and Chaga Extract?
Chaga Powder is the ground powder of raw Chaga Mushroom. It is not water-soluble and to reap its benefits it needs to steep in a hot water and is therefore traditionally used as a tea. Chaga Extract is already processed (double-extracted) and ready to use powder. It does not need any steeping and it is water-soluble. It can be easily added to coffee, hot chocolate or smoothies.
Why should I use it?
Chaga has many health benefits. Chaga is known for its strong anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial potential. Chaga is also rich in antioxidants. You can use Chaga Extract in your tea, coffee or smoothie, if you want to support your immune system, improve your digestion and gut health.
Plastic free and biodegradable package, really?
Yes. We care about the nature and we pack all our products with lot of love and care into plastic free and biodegradable packages. We use natural materials like wood, corn and potatoes to make the packages, therefore they are 100% biodegradable in 66 days.
How long should I use it?

Positive qualities of Chaga Mushroom Extract

Tervislikkus

Antioxidant Activity
The medicinal mushroom Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) has great antioxidant properties. The Chaga antioxidants help your cells fight aganist free radicals (Park et al., 2004). The Chaga polyphenols have a natural antioxidant potential (Wang et al., 2021). The Inonotus obliquus polysaccharides like beta-glucan have great antioxidant activity (Lu et al., 2021) and immunostimulating activity (Won at al., 2011). These findings indicate that Chaga mushroom can be a great natural immune system booster.
Antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects

Even though Chaga mushroom has been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years, it has resently gained interest as natural healing remedy against virus infections. Studies have shown the therapeutic potential of Inonotus obliquus as a natural antiviral treatment against SARS-COV-2 (Shahzad et al., 2020) and as a natural inhibitor of herpes simplex virus (Pan et al., 2013). Research suggests that Chaga potentially possesses anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties (Van et al., 2009; Lu et al., 2021).

Antitumor activity

Chaga mushroom has been widely used in the traditional medicine as a natural anticancer cure, but little was known about the mechanisms underlying the anticancer influence of Inonotus obliquus. Studies have confirmed that Inonotus obliquus polysaccharides could suppress the invasion and migration of human lung carcinoma (Lee at al., 2014); might be utilized as a therapeutic agent against lymphoma cancer with immunomodulatory activity (Chen et al., 2015) and can act as a potential anticancer agent by numerous other cancer types (Lemieszek et al., 2011; Lu et al., 2021).

Anti-Fatigue activity

The research on Chaga mushroom or more precisely on Inonotus obliquus polysaccharides suggest that Chaga has a great potential to postpone physical fatigue and furthermore, a potential to improve mental fatigue (Zhang at al., 2020). Chaga may be a potential natural anti-fatique agent (Lu et al., 2021).
